The Birds Advent has been inspired by all of the beautiful birds throughout the world.
There are over 11,000 known species of birds in the world. The photos you see are a glimpse into some of the inspiration that surrounds us, simply stunning colours.
I have chosen 25 birds to use as inspiration for colourways this advent season. Whilst this advent will not be a fade in the traditional sense, it will flow around the colour chart with the colourways complimenting each other.
I have dyed some bird colourways previously if you are interested in how I interpreted those - Kookaburra, Galah, Heron, Kingfisher, Gouldian Finch and Rainbow Bee-eater
The Birds Advent will be fun and colourful, featuring mini skeins that are mainly variegated and speckled.

24 × 20g mini skeins, 1 x 100gm skein and a selection of small treats along with a ‘Gingerbread Folk’ cookie :)
